The access in this library is based on the CUL Entrance Card valid in the headquarters and in all the branch libraries.

The library had a reading room with 54 seats.


The total fund (2019): 52.959 bibliographic units (books and periodicals)
Number of entries in the database (2019): 26.497 entries
The documents in our collections cover the following fields: philosophy, political sciences, sociology, communication, European integration, history, religion, arts.
The collections of the Philosophy library are in a continuous growth and contain reference books, treaties, university courses, manuals, periodicals.
The stock of the library included also the old book collection taken from the Philosophy Department of "Al. I. Cuza" University in Iaşi. There can be mentioned: 1793 - Rousseau, Jean-Jacques, Oeuvres Completes, 37 volumes, 1771- Saverien, M., Histoire des philosophes anciens, jusqu'a la renaissance des Lettres, avec leurs portraits, 5 volumes.
Our readers have access, in the reading room, to some reference books: encyclopaedias, general and specialized dictionaries such as:
